About

Fueled by People's Liberty, the Percussion Park is an interactive sculptural instrument in East Price Hill, inviting residents to spontaneously create music. The park includes a series of instrument stations using wood, repurposed steel, propane tanks, old gears, and much more. The materials used are specifically chosen to provide unique timbres; meditative, unexpected, odd, inspiring, anything to create a fun musical space.

The park will be installed April 21st, on the newly restored lot at the corner of Warsaw and McPherson. Currently, Price Hill Will and Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, are working to reshape the empty lot, adding a rain garden, a variety of plants, and trees.

The park aims to be a fun, and expressive community gathering spot, and host to a variety of activities. Free percussion lessons, pop-up concerts (including MYCincinnati performances), percussion competitions, and impromptu master classes, the percussion park puts creativity into the hands of the people who use it, creating an exciting, accessible, interactive place that belongs to the community.
